GLUTEN FREE FLOURS AND CATERERS
A range of gluten free flours are available:
GLUTEN FREE BREAD AND CAKE MIXES
Glebe Farm gluten free mixes come in convenient bag sizes. The bread mixes make one loaf and the cake mixes make a delicious cake or muffins for the whole family to enjoy. They provide delicious results with minimum effort required. The 'made up' bread and cake tastes as good as they look and can be made without dairy products or eggs (see Recipe Section).
Plus, our mixes are exceptionally versatile and may be used to make other baked goodies eg our best seller, the chocolate cake mix makes a fabulous roulade, sticky loaf cake and microwave puds. (See Recipe Section). 'It is first time I have had a birthday cake in fifteen years!'' Anne, Huntingdon.
GLUTEN FREE PORRIDGE OAT FLAKES AND OAT MEAL
Glebe Farm is the only farm this side of the Atlantic growing and processing gluten free oats into porridge flakes and oat flour. A designated processing unit steams and rolls the gluten free oats to be used by manufacturers and bakers and also to go into the Glebe Farm retail packs of gluten free porridge oats, muesli and granolas!
WHEAT AND SPELT
Glebe Farm organic wheat and spelt flours are sustainably - produced, from habitats attractive to wildlife. There are 57 different bird species including reed and corn buntings. We often see Barn owls, Woodpeckers and during the summer Red Kites and Buzzards. Rebecca Rayner runs Glebe Farm where the crops are grown, milled and packed.
There are two mills on the farm and local windmills are also used. Keeping historic windmills in work and grinding grain commercially helps fund essential maintenance work and gives the mills a more secure future. High winds can often damage the sails and the mill can quickly fall into disrepair and owners cannot afford to pay for repairs. The roof and beams holding the millstones can then rot with disastrous consequences. So, at Glebe Farm we like to support these beautiful buildings and to keep them viable.

Our customers tell us what they think!
I never thought I would enjoy a sponge cake EVER again! All the gluten free cake mixes I have tried have come out like bricks and are so bad even the birds turn their beaks up. SO HERE IS THE BIGGEST FATTEST THANK YOU :-) I shall tell ALL Coeliacs!!!!! Helen, your biggest fan!
"Gluten Free bread mixes were easy to make - great results from breadmaker, excellent bread, even better toast. The Gluten Free Cake mix is superb - great texture, looks dense but isn't. Six of us tried both and the results were unanimous. WELL DONE!!" Jean Foster, West Cumbria Coeliac UK Group Organiser.
'It's the best gluten free bread I have ever tasted' Gloria Joiner, Coeliac UK Support Officer.
Congratulations on making the nearest GF (seeded brown) bread mix that I have found to the real bread that I thoroughly miss. I have started to spread the word. Dee, South Coast.
Thank you for the first decent cake I have had since being forced to go gluten-free two years ago. I am in raptures about how lovely it is. I am sure you are aware how awful some gluten-free products taste and feel, with unattractive texture and gritty/powdery feel that is frankly horrible. Nonetheless yours was better than nice, it is gorgeous! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Mrs Saunders.
Your gluten free flour is quantums better than anything else out there and makes a cake that anyone would eat, not just those who can't eat gluten. Ruth Lachmann, www.lachmanns.co.uk
'Having a severe wheat intolerance and trying virtually every replacement loaf for four years I tried your Spelt and Sunflower Bread Mix, I cannot recommend it highly enough! Elaine Hanzak
'It was first time I took sandwiches to school! 4 more packs please!' Kylie 10yrs wheat allergy
